Increased yields by up to 34% versus conventional white chalk shade paint in greenhouse trials.
The gap comes from light. Chalk paint blocks up to half the incoming light from spring through autumn, to prevent overheating in a handful of peak-summer weeks. Albotherm only shades the glass when the glass is actually overheating — so the crop gets the light it needs the rest of the season.

No. While the glass is cool the material stays clear and lets light through — it only starts to shade once the surface warms up.
