Office and residential glass works against you all year — losing heat in winter, gaining too much of it in summer. Fixed tints and low-e materials reduce solar gain across the whole year, including the months you would rather have the daylight. Motorised blinds need BMS integration and a recurring maintenance line. Electrochromic glass requires wiring and a control system, and reaches its dark state by absorbing energy that ends up as heat inside the glass itself.
Our window films give the glazing a built-in response: clear when the surface is cool, whitening only when the surface is heating up. No wiring, no controls and nothing to maintain — the film reacts to the heat on the glass itself.
